Apr 05 2014 · Wound up being a faulty hyd control valve. If you can't seem to find the cause disconnect the tilt cyl feed lines with the forks lowered & flat on the floor holding the upright in position. With the hyd control valve in the neutral position there should be no oil
Jan 24 2019 · i maintain my truck and hate leaks. Truck worked all season long and dump a lot of loads with no issues. Been doing preventative maintainance. Had bed half up yesterday and notice oil was out of this . I think thats a hole for a spanner. Doesnt make sense why that just randomly started doing that when it was great all year ...
Jan 05 2020 · If its not going into the cylinder to raise the box its leaking internally somewhere. Either thru the pump relief control spools etc. I seem to recall most dump box cylinders are single line so if oil is puking out the vent hose could be one of the packings in the cylinder are on the way out.

Mar 01 2015 · Good chance the oil is leaking by the piston seal when there's no pressure on the cylinder. Most piston seals have an initial preload but they rely on system pressure to energize the seal against the bore for making the seal at higher pressures.

Nov 12 2005 · Jun 13 2005. Messages: 2. Location: California. I recently bought a dump truck with a telescoping hoist. It was running fine until one day the hoist started to leak hydraulic oil. I am not sure where the is coming from but it seems like one of the seals is bad on the packing nut.
